Stade Raoul-Barriere

Beziers Herault narrowly defeated Valence Romans 28-26 in a thrilling encounter at Stade Raoul-Barriere. Samuel Marques opened the scoring for Beziers with an early penalty, but Valence responded quickly with a try from Owen Lane. Marques then converted a try from Otunuku Pauta, giving Beziers a brief lead. However, Lucas Meret's kicking kept Valence in touch, including a penalty and conversion after a try from Esteban Tercq. The second half saw Beziers extend their lead with a try from Nicolas Plazy, converted by Marques. Valence fought back with penalties from Meret, but were hampered by yellow cards. A late try from Victor Dreuille sealed the victory for Beziers despite a valiant effort from Valence.
