Stade Nicois triumphed over Biarritz with a thrilling 42-41 victory in a nail-biting Pro D2 clash. Taufua opened the scoring with an early try, quickly followed by efforts from Bouton and Conduche, giving the home side a strong lead. Biarritz responded with a try from Hebert and continued to fight back, narrowing the gap with penalties from Retiere. The second half saw Taufua score again, but Biarritz's Dyer and Acebes made crucial contributions, bringing the score to a dramatic finish. In the final minutes, Stade Nicois held their nerve, capitalizing on penalties to secure the win. Flavio Asquini's consistent kicking proved vital for the home team, while Retiere's efforts kept Biarritz in contention throughout. This match highlighted the intense rivalry between the two sides, with Stade Nicois avenging their previous defeat.
