Kobelco Kobe Steelers secured a commanding 50-22 victory over Urayasu D-Rocks. Brodie Retallick opened the scoring for the Steelers with an early try, quickly followed by a conversion from Bryn Gatland. The D-Rocks responded with a try from Kai Ishii, but the Steelers maintained their momentum with further tries from Ngani Laumape, Kanta Matsunaga, and Gerard Cowley-Tui, establishing a 28-12 lead at halftime. Gatland's kicking was pivotal, converting five tries and adding a penalty. In the second half, Kanta Matsunaga bagged two more tries, showcasing his speed and finishing ability. The D-Rocks managed a late try through Jasper Wiese, but it was too little, too late. Kobelco's dominant performance solidified their status as a formidable team in the league.
