Kobelco Kobe Steelers secured a 35-20 victory over Shizuoka BlueRevs in a competitive match. The Steelers struck first with a penalty from Gatland, but the BlueRevs responded quickly with a try from Te Whare, followed by a conversion from Greene. Te Whare's yellow card at the 16th minute proved costly as the Steelers scored a penalty try, leveling the score. Waisake Raratubua added to the Steelers' tally with a try shortly after, and Gatland's conversion gave them a 15-7 lead. In the second half, Seungsin Lee extended the Steelersโ€™ advantage with a try, converted by Gatland. Shuntaro Kitamura's try for the BlueRevs narrowed the gap, but Inoke Burua's late score solidified the Steelers' dominance. Despite strong performances from Greene and Te Whare, the BlueRevs could not overcome the Steelers' lead.
