Wales Women secured a 21-12 victory against Australia Women in a tightly contested friendly match at Ballymore Stadium. Australia opened the scoring early with a try from Codey, followed by a successful conversion by Miller. However, Wales responded swiftly, with Metcalfe scoring two tries, both converted by Bevan, giving them a 14-7 lead at halftime. After the break, Dallavalle extended Wales' lead with another try, again converted by Bevan. Australia tried to rally back with a late try from Tuinakauvadra, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. Key performances from Metcalfe and Bevan were crucial for Wales, while Australia's efforts fell short despite a spirited display. This match continued Wales' recent dominance, having previously defeated Australia in their last encounter.
