The Stormers secured a convincing 26-10 victory over the Ospreys at DHL Stadium. Kieran Hardy opened the scoring for the Ospreys with a try in the second minute. However, the Stormers quickly responded with a try from Evan Roos at nine minutes, followed by another try from Hardy just before halftime, giving Ospreys a 10-5 lead. Jurie Matthee's penalties kept the Stormers in touch, and they took the lead early in the second half with a try by Wandisile Simelane. Matthee's conversion and subsequent penalties extended their advantage. Paul de Villiers sealed the win with a try in the 69th minute. The Stormers' dominance in the second half ultimately secured them a comfortable victory.
