Angouleme v Valence: record penben

Soyaux Angouleme edged out Valence Romans with a final score of 17-13 in a tightly contested Pro D2 match. Valence's Adrien Martin opened the scoring with an early try and conversion, putting the away team in a strong position. However, Soyaux responded with a series of penalties from Paul Berges, capitalizing on Valence's indiscipline, including two yellow cards for Ilia Spanderashvili and Sacha Idoumi. A crucial try from Maxence Lemardelet in the second half shifted momentum back to the home side. With Ben Botica adding crucial penalties, Soyaux maintained their lead despite late pressure from Valence. The match was marked by a display of resilience from Soyaux, who held firm against the visitorsโ€™ attempts to rally. This victory marked a significant turnaround for Soyaux after previous losses to Valence Romans.
