Jesse Kriel opened the scoring for the Eagles with an early try, followed by two more from Kippei Ishida and Viliame Takayawa, all converted by Yu Tamura. The Dynaboars responded with tries from Epineri Uluiviti and Naco Joape, narrowing the gap before halftime. In the second half, Charlie Lawrence added another try for the Dynaboars, but Levi Aumua's try for the Eagles helped maintain their lead.
