Stage: Regular Season Round 5

Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi

The match between Zebre Parma and the Lions ended with a narrow victory for the Lions, 10-9. Zebre's Montemauri opened the scoring with two penalties in the first half, showcasing his kicking prowess. However, the Lions struck back with a try from van der Merwe, which Nohamba converted to take the lead. Nohamba also added a penalty just after halftime, extending the Lions' advantage. Zebre continued to fight back, but despite Montemauri's efforts, they could not convert their chances into tries. The weather, marked by heavy rain, affected the handling and flow of the game, leading to a tense battle. Ultimately, the Lions held on for a hard-fought victory, leaving Zebre disappointed at home.
