Stage: Regular Season Round 8

DHL Stadium

The Stormers secured a convincing 29-10 victory over the Lions at DHL Stadium. Joseph Dweba was a standout performer, scoring two tries and providing a strong presence in the scrum. The Lions faced a significant setback when Ruben Schoeman received a red card in the first half, severely impacting their chances. Despite a brief response from Edwill van der Merwe, who scored for the Lions, the Stormers' momentum was unrelenting. Leolin Zas and Neethling Fouche added to the Stormers' tally, with Manie Libbok successfully converting five out of six tries. The Lions struggled to find their rhythm, especially after losing a player early on. The match highlighted the Stormers' dominance in both attack and defense, setting a strong tone for their season.
