Benetton Rugby delivered a commanding performance, defeating Glasgow Warriors 33-7 at Stadio Comunale di Monigo. The home side took an early lead with tries from Odogwu and Maile, both converted by Umaga, establishing a 14-point advantage within the first seven minutes. Rhyno Smith and Tommaso Menoncello further extended Benetton's lead with tries in the first half, showcasing their attacking prowess. Glasgow managed to score a try through Huw Jones in the second half, but it was a mere consolation as Umaga responded with another try and two more conversions. The fly-half, Umaga, was instrumental throughout, contributing significantly to the scoreline. The victory marked a strong turnaround for Benetton following their previous loss to Glasgow. Overall, it was a dominant display by Benetton, highlighting their capability in the URC.
