Lions v Scarlets: record penben
The Scarlets secured a convincing 32-19 victory against the Lions at Emirates Airline Park. Blair Murray was a standout performer for the Scarlets, scoring two tries and demonstrating great skill throughout the match. The opening stages saw the Scarlets take control early on, with Sam Costelow successfully converting a try and adding a drop goal just before halftime. The Lions responded with a try from Nico Steyn, but the Scarlets maintained their lead thanks to a penalty from Costelow and a try by Taine Plumtree soon after the break. Despite a strong effort from Richard Kriel, who scored twice for the Lions, they struggled to overcome the Scarlets' dominance. The Scarlets' defense held firm, allowing them to close out the match without any further scores from the Lions. This performance solidified the Scarlets' position in the URC standings, showcasing their attacking prowess and tactical discipline.
