Scottish Gas Murrayfield

Scotland secured a commanding 59-21 victory over Portugal at Murrayfield. Will Hurd opened the scoring with an early try, followed by efforts from Stafford McDowall and Darcy Graham, the latter showcasing his speed and skill. Adam Hastings was instrumental with the boot, converting all but one of Scotland's tries and adding a penalty try during Portugal's yellow card period. Portugal's Luka Begic managed to score early in the second half, but Scotland responded with two more tries from Arron Reed. The Scots continued to pressure their opponents, with Jamie Dobie scoring late in the match. Raffaele Storti added a consolation try for Portugal, but it was not enough to change the outcome. Overall, Scotland's dominant performance highlighted their attacking prowess and set the tone for future matches.
