Northampton Saints triumphed over Harlequins with a score of 33-29 in a nail-biting match. The away team took an early lead with a try from Walker, converted by Smith. The Saints responded quickly, with Iyogun scoring a try and Smith converting it. Harlequins' Smith was instrumental, scoring two tries and a penalty, but it was not enough to secure victory. The home side's Sleightholme shone with two tries, helping to maintain the pressure on Harlequins. A penalty try awarded to the Saints during Nick David's yellow card was pivotal in the tight contest. In the end, Northampton held off a late surge from Harlequins to claim the win.
