Kingston Park

The Newcastle Falcons secured a hard-fought 24-18 victory over the Exeter Chiefs at Kingston Park. Exeter's Immanuel Feyi-Waboso opened the scoring with a try in the third minute, but the Falcons responded quickly with Philip van der Walt scoring a try followed by a conversion from Ethan Grayson. Grayson also played a pivotal role, scoring a drop goal and contributing two further conversions, while Jamie Blamire crossed the line twice for Newcastle. The Chiefs struggled with discipline, as Richard Capstick received a yellow card, impacting their momentum. Josh Hodge kept Exeter in contention with two penalties and a late try, converting his own score to narrow the gap. Despite their efforts, Exeter couldn't close the deficit, and the Falcons held on for the win. This match showcased Newcastle's resilience and tactical discipline against a determined Chiefs side.
