Soyaux Angouleme triumphed over Agen 30-29 in a thrilling encounter at Stade Chanzy. The away team started strong with a try from Ramoka, converted by Pourteau, giving them an early 7-0 lead. However, Angouleme responded with two quick tries from Tilsley and Brosset, followed by a penalty from Botica, to lead 15-10 at halftime. The second half saw a flurry of tries, including a powerful performance from Masibaka and a crucial score from Matu'u.
