Recreation Ground

Bath Rugby claimed a narrow 19-15 victory over Exeter Chiefs at the Recreation Ground. Guy Pepper opened the scoring with an early try, quickly followed by a conversion from Finn Russell. Exeter responded with a try from Jacques Vermeulen, but Bath maintained their lead despite a yellow card for Ted Hill. In the second half, Miles Reid's try and Russell's successful conversion extended Bath's advantage. Exeter's Greg Fisilau managed to score late in the game, but it wasn't enough to secure a comeback. Bath's defense held strong, particularly with Ben Spencer's yellow card completing a challenging period for them. Ultimately, Bath's disciplined performance and key moments secured their hard-fought win.
