Stade Georges-Pompidou

Valence Romans secured a commanding 57-34 victory over Stade Nicois at Stade Georges-Pompidou. The home side showcased their attacking prowess early, with tries from Menzel, Deligny, Pontanier, and Roux, all converted by Meret, establishing a strong lead. Gimbert responded for Stade Nicois with a penalty and a try, but Valence continued to score, with Pauvert adding another try before halftime. In the second half, Mawalu scored twice, further extending the lead, while Gimbert's efforts kept Stade Nicois in touch. Despite a yellow card for Guillomot, Valence maintained their momentum, and Meret's kicking was impeccable throughout. Ultimately, the home side's relentless attack proved too much for Stade Nicois, who struggled to contain their offense. The match highlighted Valence's offensive capabilities and solidified their position in the league standings.
