Jerome Bosviel added to the scoreline with precise kicking, converting all but one of the tries. Montauban's strong start included an early penalty and a flurry of tries, putting them firmly in control. Agen rallied in the second half, with Tomasi Fineanganofo and Loris Tolot both crossing the line, but their efforts fell short.
