Stage: Regular Season Round 21

Parc des Sports Aguilera

CA Brive secured a narrow victory over Biarritz with a final score of 24-20 at Parc des Sports Aguilera. Biarritz started strong with Thomas Dolhagaray kicking two early penalties and a try from Thomas Hebert, giving them a 13-3 lead. However, Brive responded well, with Marcel van der Merwe scoring a try and Curwin Bosch adding several penalties to turn the tide. Both teams faced yellow cards, with Tyler Morgan and Hendre Stassen temporarily sidelined, impacting their respective defenses. In the second half, Francisco Coria's try for Brive put them ahead, and despite a late try from Morgan for Biarritz, the home side fell short. Dolhagaray's conversion attempt at the end was not enough to change the outcome. Overall, Brive's resilience and strategic kicking proved decisive in this tightly contested match.
