Stade Chanzy

Soyaux Angouleme secured a convincing 40-20 victory over Aurillac at Stade Chanzy. The home side quickly established control with early tries from Zouhair and Mey, both converted by Glenat, putting them ahead 14-0 within the first ten minutes. Despite a drop goal from Seunes for Aurillac, Soyaux continued to dominate, with Tilsley adding another try before halftime, extending their lead to 21-3. In the second half, Khonelidze's try for Aurillac briefly sparked hope, but Farissier and Tilsley responded with tries for Soyaux, maintaining their momentum. Glenat's consistent kicking kept the scoreboard ticking for Soyaux. Aurillac's Oudard managed a late try, but it was not enough to alter the outcome. Overall, Soyaux Angouleme showcased a powerful performance, particularly in their attacking play.
