Valence Romans secured a commanding 38-14 victory over Aurillac at Stade Georges-Pompidou. Matteo Rodor opened the scoring with an early try, followed by successful conversions from Lucas Meret, who had an outstanding game with a total of 14 points. Anthony Aleo and Dorian Marco-Pena also crossed the line, showcasing Romans' attacking prowess. Despite a late first-half try from Mehdi Slamani for Aurillac, they struggled to contain the home team's momentum. In the second half, Mathieu Guillomot and Cyril Deligny further extended Romans' lead with tries, both converted by Meret. Aurillac's Karsen Talalua managed a consolation try late in the game but it was too little too late. The match was marked by Valence's effective ball control and strong defensive efforts, ensuring a comfortable win.
