Aurillac secured a thrilling 34-31 victory against Biarritz in a tightly contested Pro D2 match. The home side took an early lead with a try from Niko, but Biarritz quickly responded through Tapie. Seunes was instrumental for Aurillac, scoring two tries and converting multiple attempts, showcasing his skills as fly half. The first half ended with Aurillac holding a significant advantage, leading 26-10 after Seunes added another try just before the break. Biarritz fought back valiantly in the second half, with Retiere and Hebert scoring tries to narrow the gap. Despite being down to 14 players for a period, Biarritz managed to score late through Fariscot, but Aurillac held firm to secure the win. This match marked a strong comeback for Aurillac after their previous defeat to Biarritz earlier in the season.
