Stade du Pre Fleuri

USON Nevers triumphed over Soyaux Angouleme with a score of 30-23 in a closely contested Pro D2 match. Early penalties from Bau kept Soyaux in contention, but Nevers struck first with a try from Rosette, followed by a conversion from Reynolds. Despite a strong response from Angouleme, including tries from Barka and Ortolan, Nevers maintained their lead with another try from Rosette. A yellow card for Dubecq briefly hampered Soyaux's progress, allowing Nevers to capitalize with further points from Reynolds. The match saw a flurry of substitutions in the second half as both teams looked to bolster their performance. Angouleme’s Barrett scored a try, but Nevers responded with a decisive effort from Reynolds. Ultimately, Nevers secured the victory, reversing the previous defeat to Soyaux earlier in the season.
