Stage: Regular Season Round 27

Stade Amedee-Domenech

CA Brive secured a hard-fought victory over Provence Rugby with a final score of 24-17. Provence started strong, with Lapegue-Lafaye scoring an early try, but Brive responded with a penalty and a penalty try after Provence's Wegrzyn and Sauveterre received yellow cards. Asier Usarraga from Brive was also temporarily sidelined, but Brive capitalized on the weakened opposition, with Usarraga's return coinciding with a try by Taniela Sadrugu. Gopperth's conversion and a late try from Piazzoli kept Provence in contention, but Brive maintained their lead. Key performances from Curwin Bosch and Stuart Olding guided Brive's attacking play throughout the match. The match was marked by intense physicality and strategic substitutions, especially from Provence, who made multiple changes in an attempt to regain control. Ultimately, Brive's resilience and tactical discipline secured them the win at home.
