Angouleme vs Montauban head to head

In a closely contested match, US Montauban triumphed over Soyaux Angouleme with a score of 19-18. Soyaux started strong, with tries from Proult and Meite, followed by a conversion and a drop goal from Glenat, giving them an early lead. However, a yellow card for Nabou disrupted their momentum, allowing Montauban to capitalize with a try from Bosviel shortly before halftime. The second half saw Montauban rally back, with Tuculet and Zabalza both crossing the line, while Bosviel's conversions proved crucial in keeping the scoreboard ticking. Soyaux struggled to regain control, receiving another yellow card for Matu'u, which further hindered their efforts. Despite a strong performance from Glenat, who contributed significantly with his kicking, they fell just short. Montauban's resilience and strategic play ultimately secured their victory on the road.
