US Montauban secured a convincing 29-13 victory against CA Brive at Stade Amedee-Domenech. Jerome Bosviel was instrumental for Montauban, scoring a try, five penalties, and a drop goal, showcasing his kicking prowess. Yvan Reilhac's early try set the tone, and Montauban capitalised on Brive鈥檚 discipline issues, with Simon-Pierre Chauvac receiving a yellow card. Brive fought back with a try from Benjamin Boudou shortly after halftime, converted by Curwin Bosch. However, Montauban consistently answered with penalties from Bosviel and a try from JT Jackson, maintaining control of the match. The home side struggled to find rhythm, hampered by indiscipline and turnovers. Ultimately, Montauban's superior execution and tactical discipline led to a well-deserved win.
