The Kobelco Kobe Steelers secured a decisive 36-18 victory over the Yokohama Canon Eagles at Kobe Misaki Stadium. George Turner opened the scoring with an early try, followed by three more from Ataata Moeakiola, Timothy Lafaele, and Kanta Matsunaga, making it 24-5 at halftime. Seungsin Lee's kicking was on point, converting three tries successfully. The Eagles fought back in the second half, with Viliame Takayawa scoring two tries, but they could not close the gap.
