Stage: Regular Season Round 11

Ashton Gate

Bristol Bears emerged victorious against Newcastle Falcons with a score of 53-35 at Ashton Gate. The home team established dominance early with tries from Oghre, Heward, and Ravouvou, all converted by Byrne, giving them a 21-0 lead. Newcastle responded with two quick tries from Chick and Blamire, narrowing the gap to 21-14 before halftime. In the second half, Ravouvou added another try, and a penalty from Byrne extended Bristol's lead. Despite a spirited effort from Newcastle, including tries from Clark and Stevenson, Bristol's offense continued to shine with further scores from Mata, Marmion, and Bailey. The final try from Heward capped off a remarkable performance for Bristol. The game was played in challenging wet conditions, but Bristol's attacking flair proved too much for Newcastle to handle.
