The Saitama Wild Knights delivered a commanding performance against the Tokyo Sungoliath, winning 60-17. Damian de Allende opened the scoring with a try in the third minute, quickly followed by Tomoki Osada and Liam Mitchell, showcasing the Knights' attacking prowess. Kyohei Yamasawa was instrumental with his boot, converting all but one try and adding penalties to extend the lead. Tokyo managed a brief respite with a try from Kotaro Matsushima, but Saitama's forwards, led by Lood de Jager, continued to assert dominance. In the second half, Itsuki Onishi and Kyohei Yamasawa added to the scoreline, while the Sungoliath struggled, receiving two yellow cards for Cheslin Kolbe and Sam Cane. Seiya Ozaki's late try for Tokyo was overshadowed by Saitama's relentless scoring. The Wild Knights' victory solidified their strong position in Japan League One D1.
