Toshiba Brave Lupus Tokyo secured a commanding 49-28 victory over Yokohama Canon Eagles at Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium. Seta Tamanivalu opened the scoring with a try in the 8th minute, followed closely by another from Yuhei Sugiyama. Richie Mo'unga's accuracy with the boot ensured the home side maintained a significant lead, converting all five tries in the first half. The Eagles fought back with tries from Matsui and Tamura, but they struggled to keep pace. Shannon Frizell and Shohei Toyoshima added to the Brave Lupus tally in the second half, with Mo'unga continuing to shine. Despite a late surge from the Eagles, including a try from Kriel and two from Matsui, the gap proved too wide. Ultimately, Mo'unga's exceptional performance, scoring 19 points, was pivotal in securing the home team's dominant win.
