Bath Rugby secured a commanding 42-26 victory over Gloucester Rugby at the Recreation Ground. Guy Pepper opened the scoring for Bath with a try in the fifth minute, quickly followed by a conversion from Finn Russell. Gloucester responded with a try from Jack Clement, but Bath continued to build their lead with tries from Max Ojomoh, Thomas du Toit, and Russell himself, resulting in a halftime score of 28-12. In the second half, Gloucester's George Barton added to their score, yet Bath's Will Stuart and Sam Underhill further extended their advantage. Russell's kicking was impeccable, contributing significantly with conversions after each try. Despite a yellow card for Christian Wade, Gloucester could not close the gap, as Bath's attacking prowess prevailed. The victory reinforced Bath's dominance over Gloucester, having previously beaten them in their last encounter.
