Sale Sharks secured a 27-17 victory over Northampton Saints at Salford City Stadium. The match started explosively with Tom O'Flaherty scoring the first try for Sale, followed by a second from Tom Roebuck. Northampton's Tom James and Tommy Freeman both received yellow cards early on, hampering their side's efforts. Emmanuel Iyogun responded for the Saints with a try, but Sale maintained their momentum with another Roebuck try. Bevan Rodd added to Sale's tally shortly after halftime, converting successfully through George Ford. Although Northampton fought back with a try from Henry Pollock, Sale's lead proved insurmountable. The victory marked a significant turnaround for Sale after their previous loss to Northampton in October.
