Mikheil Meskhi Stadium

Black Lion triumphed over RC Vannes with a final score of 22-19 in a closely contested match at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium. Luka Matkava opened the scoring for the home side with a penalty, but Vannes quickly responded with a try from Stephen Varney, converted by Thibault Debaes. Matkava scored twice more from the tee before Aka Tabutsadze crossed for a try right before halftime, giving Black Lion a 13-10 lead at the break. The second half saw Debaes and Matkava trading penalties, but it was Matkava's consistent kicking that kept Black Lion in front. A late penalty from Matkava sealed the victory, despite a spirited effort from Vannes, who scored a late penalty through Cotarmanac'h. The game showcased strong defensive displays and tactical kicking from both sides. Ultimately, Black Lion's discipline and home advantage secured them the narrow win.
