The Ospreys secured a convincing 30-14 victory over the Lions in Swansea. The match opened with a try from Marais, giving the Lions an early lead at 0-7. However, the Ospreys responded quickly, with Morgan scoring a try and Williams converting to level the score. A yellow card for Pretorius temporarily weakened the Lions, allowing the Ospreys to capitalize with two more tries from Giles and Hardy. Williams' accurate kicking ensured a steady flow of points for the Ospreys throughout the match. Although the Lions managed a late try from Cronje, it was too little, too late. The Ospreys' strong performance was characterized by effective teamwork and discipline, confirming their dominance at home.
