Kingston Park

Montpellier secured a convincing 26-7 victory over Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park. The away team struck first with a try from Bernadet, converted by Darmon, putting them ahead early. Newcastle briefly rallied with a try from Hearle, converted by Wilkinson, leveling the score at 7-7. However, Montpellier responded decisively, scoring three more tries through Serfontein, Akrab, and Martins, with Barreau converting two. Akrab's yellow card did not hinder Montpellier's dominance, as they maintained control throughout the match. The Falcons struggled to penetrate Montpellier's defense, failing to score after their opening try. Overall, Montpellier's power and precision in attack overshadowed Newcastle's efforts.
