Bath Rugby secured a convincing 49-24 victory over Section Paloise in the Challenge Cup at Stade du Hameau. Will Muir opened the scoring for Bath just two minutes in, followed by tries from Joe Cokanasiga and Josh Bayliss, with Ciaran Donoghue's kicking proving pivotal. Section Paloise fought back with a try from Carwyn Tuipulotu, but Bath continued to assert their dominance. A red card for Sam Underhill in the 55th minute briefly threatened Bath's control, yet Ruaridh McConnochie and Miles Reid added further tries. Fabien Brau Boirie's double for Section Paloise showcased their resilience, yet they struggled to contain Bath's attack. Donoghue's kicking was flawless, helping to maintain Bath's lead throughout the match. Ultimately, Bath's performance highlighted their attacking prowess and solidified their position in the tournament.
