Bath Rugby secured a convincing 39-24 victory over Edinburgh Rugby in the Challenge Cup. The match started with an early try from Underhill, quickly followed by a conversion from Russell. Edinburgh responded with a try from Tuipulotu, leveling the score before Bath's Dunn crossed the line for a second try. A penalty try for Edinburgh just before halftime kept them in touch at 17-14. In the second half, Bath maintained their momentum, with tries from Barbeary and Annett, while Edinburgh struggled to capitalize on their possession. Russell's kicking was instrumental for Bath, converting several key tries and adding penalties. Ultimately, Edinburgh could not match Bath's scoring power, leaving the final score at 39-24.
