Recreation Ground

Bath Rugby showcased a dominant performance at the Recreation Ground, defeating Bedford Blues 43-26. Jasper Spandler, Ciaran Donoghue, Will Butt, Tom Cowan, and Ruaridh McConnochie all crossed the try line for Bath, with Bailey contributing significantly by converting six of the tries. Bedford struggled with discipline, suffering a yellow card early on through Matt Worley, which allowed Bath to capitalize and build an early lead. Bedford's efforts were led by Worley, who managed to score two tries, along with contributions from Joey Conway and Joe Howard. Despite a spirited comeback in the second half, Bedford could not close the gap sufficiently. The match was characterized by Bath's powerful attacking play and solid defense, while Bedford's inconsistencies hindered their chances. Ultimately, Bath's comprehensive victory underscored their strength in the competition.
