The Hurricanes delivered a commanding performance against the NSW Waratahs, finishing with a score of 57-12. Despite an early try from Saunders for the Waratahs, the Hurricanes quickly responded with multiple tries, including two from Naholo. Hohepa's accurate kicking added to the scoreline, while Aumua and Roigard also crossed the line to extend the lead. The Waratahs struggled to contain the Hurricanes' relentless attack, and a penalty try further emphasized their dominance. In the second half, the Hurricanes continued their onslaught with additional tries from Shields, Sullivan, and a hat-trick from Naholo. The Waratahs managed a consolation try but were largely outclassed throughout the match. The Hurricanes' victory marked an impressive continuation of their strong form against the Waratahs.
