SaberCats Stadium

The Houston Sabercats secured a commanding 34-14 victory over the San Diego Legion at SaberCats Stadium. The home team showcased their strength early, with key tries and successful conversions that set the tone for the match. Davy Coetzer's leadership at fly half was instrumental, orchestrating the attack effectively throughout the game. San Diego's attempts to respond were met with solid defense from the Sabercats, limiting their scoring opportunities. Despite a valiant effort from Lincoln McClutchie at fly half for the Legion, they struggled to maintain possession and create consistent threats. The Sabercats' forwards, led by Sam Tuifua, dominated the set pieces, providing a platform for their backs to exploit. This victory marked a significant turnaround for the Sabercats after their previous encounters with the Legion.
