Stage: Western Conference Round 17

SaberCats Stadium

The Houston Sabercats secured a strong victory over Anthem RC with a final score of 26-14. The match began with both teams showing intent, but it was the Sabercats who struck first with a well-executed try. AJ Alatimu's tactical kicking and playmaking as the fly half were instrumental in maintaining pressure on Anthem's defense. Despite a spirited response from Anthem, particularly from their scrum half Carlo De Nysschen, they struggled to convert opportunities into points. The Sabercats' solid defense, led by Marno Redelinghuys at number eight, kept Anthem at bay throughout the match. As the game progressed, Houston capitalized on their chances, extending their lead and ultimately clinching the win. This result marked a significant statement for the Sabercats, building on their previous narrow victory over Anthem earlier in the season.
