The British and Irish Lions secured a 27-19 victory over Australia at Suncorp Stadium. Finn Russell was instrumental, contributing significantly with his kicking and playmaking, scoring two penalties and three conversions. Sione Tuipulotu opened the scoring with a try, quickly followed by another from Tom Curry, establishing a commanding lead for the Lions. Australia responded with a try from Max Jorgensen before the half, but the Lions maintained their pressure. In the second half, Dan Sheehan extended the Lions' advantage with a try, converted by Russell. Although Carlo Tizzano and Tate McDermott crossed the line for Australia late in the game, it wasn't enough to clinch the win. The Lions' strong performance in set pieces and effective back play ultimately led to their success.
