The British and Irish Lions triumphed over First Nations & Pasifika XV with a score of 24-19 in a tightly contested clash. The Lions quickly took the lead with tries from Osborne and Graham, both converted by Smith, putting them ahead 14-0 early on. Despite being reduced to 14 men after Reilly's yellow card, the home side fought back with a try from Reilly and another from Uru, both converted by Beale, which brought them to a 14-14 tie. The Lions regained the lead with a try from van der Merwe, but Leota's late try for the First Nations & Pasifika XV kept the game intense. In the final moments, the Lions held on for the win, thanks to their disciplined defense. Notable performances included Beale's leadership and scoring for the home team, while Smith's kicking proved crucial for the Lions. Ultimately, the match showcased great resilience and skill from both sides.
