South Africa secured a 29-20 victory over England at Twickenham. England started strong with a try from Sleightholme, converted by Smith. However, South Africa quickly responded with tries from Williams and du Toit, both converted by Libbok, taking the lead. Kolbe added another try for South Africa, extending their advantage. Underhill scored for England, but they struggled to maintain pressure. In the second half, Kolbe scored again, and Pollard's conversion solidified South Africa's lead. Despite a valiant effort from England, they couldn't close the gap, handing South Africa the win.
