Stadio Luigi Ferraris

Italy secured a narrow 20-17 victory against Georgia at Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Paolo Garbisi was instrumental for the home side, scoring two penalties and converting a crucial try by Alessandro Fusco. Georgia took an early lead with a try from Aka Tabutsadze, successfully converted by Luka Matkava. However, Italy responded with a penalty try after Tabutsadze received a yellow card, turning the momentum in their favor. Vasil Lobzhanidze's try for Georgia kept the pressure on Italy, but they managed to hold on in the final moments. The substitutions made by both teams added fresh energy, yet Italy's defense remained resolute. This victory marked an important win for Italy as they continue to build momentum in international rugby.
