Wales vs South Africa head to head

South Africa showcased a dominant performance against Wales, finishing the match with a commanding 45-12 victory. Franco Mostert opened the scoring with an early try, quickly followed by efforts from Eben Etzebeth and Kurt-Lee Arendse, putting South Africa ahead 19-0 within the first 20 minutes. Despite a late first-half try from Rio Dyer for Wales, South Africa continued to assert their dominance with a second-half effort from Aphelele Fassi and a brace from Jordan Hendrikse, who also contributed with multiple conversions. Hendrikse was instrumental throughout the match, demonstrating his playmaking abilities and kicking skills. Wales struggled to maintain possession and failed to match South Africa's physicality and speed. The home side managed a late consolation try from James Botham, but it was too little, too late. Overall, South Africa's superior execution and tactical discipline were decisive in this one-sided encounter.
