Stade Pierre Fabre

Castres Olympique delivered a commanding performance against Stade Francais, winning 35-13 at Stade Pierre Fabre. The home side quickly established control, with tries from Palis, Collier, and Le Brun, alongside consistent kicking from Fernandez, who also contributed a penalty. A red card for Cocagi in the 19th minute could have disrupted Castres' momentum, but they remained focused and added more points before halftime. Stade Francais managed to break through with a try from van der Mescht, but it was not enough to shift the tide. Castres' resilience was evident as they scored again through Maravat in the dying minutes. Fernandez's kicking accuracy played a crucial role, maintaining pressure on the visitors throughout the match. Overall, Castres showcased their attacking prowess and defensive solidity, sealing a convincing victory.
