Stade de la Rabine

RC Vannes secured a thrilling 34-28 victory against Castres Olympique at Stade de la Rabine. Nathanael Hulleu opened the scoring for Castres with an early try, but Vannes quickly responded through Pagakalasio Tafili and Mako Vunipola, both finding the try line. Maxime Lafage was instrumental for Vannes, converting all four tries and adding a penalty. In the second half, Michael Ruru extended Vannes' lead with a try, while Castres fought back with Pierre Colonna scoring, aided by Louis Le Brun's conversion. Despite being down to 14 men due to Lois Guerois-Galisson's yellow card, Castres pushed hard but fell short. The match showcased Vannes' resilience and attacking flair, with Lafage's kicking proving decisive. Ultimately, Vannes held on for a hard-fought win, solidifying their position in the league.
