South Africa showcased their strength against Georgia, finishing the match with a commanding score of 55-10. Georgia opened the scoring early with a try from Karkadze, followed by a conversion from Matkava. However, South Africa quickly responded with four tries in the first half, including two from van der Merwe and one each from Venter and Moodie. Pollard's introduction in the second half added further momentum, contributing to South Africa's dominant display. Edwill van der Merwe scored twice after the break, and Pollard capped off his performance with a try and multiple conversions. Despite some bright moments from Georgia, they struggled to keep pace with the Springboks. Overall, it was a comprehensive victory for South Africa in front of their home crowd at Mbombela Stadium.
